Collaborative Project Proposals in Medical Countermeasures
Please note: This EOI process is now closed.
Health Security Systems Australia (HSSA) was established in 2021 as a division of DMTC and aims to build sovereign industrial and research capability in line with Australia’s health security priorities.
The Medical Countermeasures (MCM) Program, led by Health Security Systems Australia (HSSA), is focused on the development of vaccines, therapeutics and diagnostics for the protection of military and civilian personnel against chemical, biological and radiological (CBR) threats, emerging infectious diseases and pandemics.
In June, HSSA sought Expressions of Interest (EOI) for collaborative project proposals focused on the following priority themes:
- Anti-infective therapeutics, including against antimicrobial resistance
- Vaccine products or platform technologies for infectious disease threats
- Medical Countermeasures against chemical threats
An information session and Q&A was presented as a webinar on 9 June. A recording of this webinar is available here.
